Resignation / Termination of Service(s)

After confirmation in the services of the University on completion of probation following first appointment, services may be terminated any time by either party giving the other written notice of intention to terminate the appointment or alternatively by either party paying the other basic salary in lieu of notice.

The period of notice is as follows:

Employee with less than three (3) years continuous service, two (2) months notice or two (2) months pay in lieu of notice.

Employee with three (3) years continuous service but less than five (5) years continuous service, three (3) months notice or three (3) months pay in lieu of notice.

Employee with over five (5) years continuous service but less than ten (10) years continuous service four (4) months notice or four (4) months pay in lieu of notice.

Employees with ten (10) years and above of continuous service, five (5) months notice or five (5) months pay in lieu of notice.
