The department of BEED in September 2011, hosted Prof. Volker Luderitz from Department of Water and Waste Management at the University of Applied Sciences,Magdeburg, Germany.
The professor held lecturer sessions on Ecological Engineering with topics on;
- Ecological engineering and Ecological restoration as an approach for sustainable management,
- Constructed wetlands for sewage treatment
- Restoration of streams and rivers.
