KINGDOM SEEKERS CHURCH DESIGN COMPETITION BY STUDENTS

The final adjudication was scheduled for 6^th August 2012. The members of the jury include: church representatives and Architecture department appointees (Mr. Kamaru, Miss. Faith Ng’eno, Mr. Martin, Mr. Harshim, Mr. Philip Okello, and Mrs. Rita Mugo). The prices for the students will be: 1^st -30,000 Kshs, 2^nd- 20,000 Kshs, 3^rd 10,000 Kshs, and all participants will be appreciated for their involvement. The payment to the facilitators and the jury to be decided later.

LOGO DESIGN FOR THE ASSOCIATION OF FORMER VICE-CHANCELLORS OF KENYA

The recently formed Association of Former Vice-Chancellors of Kenya, a pinnacle ofAcademic Affairs in the country, is in need of Logo to encapsulate what it stands for which among other things is: Striving for and Maintaining the Highest Quality and Excellence in Breadth, Width, Height and Depth in Education, Science and Technology; Higher Learning and Enlightenment in Kenya.

It was agreed at its last meeting that:

A competition for sourcing a suitable logo be held which will be open to students of Department of Design in University of Nairobi and JKUAT.

A token of Kshs. 15,000/- be paid to the winner, Kshs. 10,000/- to the runner up and Kshs. 5,000/- to the entrant holding the 3rd position.
