The Department of Animal Sciences prides itself on its hands on approach to learning. Students are provided teaching and learning experience that simulate real world applications. The department has one programme Animal Health Production and Processing.
Animal Health Production and Processing covers everything from animal behaviour and welfare to reproduction and nutrition, and could lead to a vocational career in the animal sector. Students gain practical experience through regular visits to local animal centres and the University’s farms.
