Dr. Eng. Gareth Kituu has been re-elected Dean, School of Biosystems and Environmental Engineering (SOBEE) unopposed, October 25, 2019. Dr. Eng. Kituu will serve the School for the next two years.

While accepting his renewed responsibility, the Dean lauded his colleagues for the support they have accorded him through his tenure and implored them to maintain the same for the next two years.

Dr. Eng. Kituu said he will focus on staff development of the School to ensure that all the departments in SOBEE have adequate and competent staff to deliver on the University mandate of training, research and innovation.

“I will continue to push the staff in the School to get registered by the Engineers Board of Kenya to improve their performance as engineers and build their capacity in their various fields,” said Dr. Eng. Kituu.

He also said, in collaboration with the academic division, he would accelerate the accreditation of all academic programmes with the Engineers Board of Kenya, especially those that are undergoing the accreditation process.
