      After writing to the Registra that you wanted to defer they must have responded on your date of admission. Alternatively if you do not have the letter kindly liaise with the Admission Office for accurate communication.The Admissions office address is ,alternatively you could come to the main campus.

      Visit our main campus-Principal,Coetec for more details. and probably application as a letter applicant. Make sure you carry your result slips and Id/Passport?Birth Certificate

    Hello, i have few questions to ask,

    1- i had a mean grade of B- ( mat. B chem. B+ pys.C+ geo.C+ buss.B religion.edu.B+ eng. C- kis C+ ) and am intrested in civil engeeniring. Do i quelified Basing to the cluster subject and cut off points?

    2-is there any by chance if i can apply now as late regester to secure a chance?

    3- do taita taveta campus offer civil engineering course?

      Diploma applicants holding: JKUAT University Diploma with at least a Credit pass in the relevant discipline. Such applicants will be eligible to join the second year of study or Ordinary Diploma from an institution recognized by the Senate having been awarded and examined by the Kenya National examinations Council or any other external examinations body recognized by the University Senate as being of equivalent status, with at least a credit pass in relevant discipline. Such applicants will be eligible to join the course in the second year of study or Higher National Diploma from an institution recognized by the University Senate, having been awarded and examined by the Kenya National Examinations Council, or, any other external examinations body recognized by the University Senate as being of equivalent status, with at least a credit pass in a relevant discipline. Such applicants will be eligible to join the course in the third year of study

      Before you bring them to the principal’s office your results need to be equated to suit the Kenyan system.
      You are eligible to apply if you have attained any of the following qualification:
      (i) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with at least a mean aggregate of at least grade B– (minus); and mean grade for the total score in the four cluster subjects must be at least B(plain); and the following minimum grades in the individual cluster subjects:
      Alternative A – Mathematics C+(plus), Physics C+(plus), Chemistry C+(plus), and Geography or Biology, or any of Group II C+ (plus), or any Group III C+(plus) or any Group IV C+(plus); Alternative B – Mathematics C+(plus), Physical Sciences b(plain), Biological Sciences C+(plus), and Geography or any of Group IV C+(plus), or equivalent qualification obtained in other examination systems.

      You are eligible to apply if you have attained any of the following qualification:

      HOW TO APPLY

      You will be able to obtain application forms from the office of the Principal, College of Engineering and Technology, JKUAT, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KShs. 1,500/= for Kenyans and US$ 50.00 for foreign students. Your duly filled application form should be returned to the address below before August, 2012 for the programmes commencing in September, 2012.

      If the examining body was KNEC then you qualify and if you got a pass you will join in 1st year,if you got a credit you will join 2nd year and if you have a higher diploma you join 3rd year.

      We do not allow bridging in our campus,there’s nothing that can be done but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel………………you could start with diploma from any institution that examining body is KNEC.
