The University Centre is located in the central business district of Nakuru Municipality (Kwanza House) as a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Commerce, Agriculture, Engineering, Enterprise Development, Technology and other Applied Sciences. The campus which occupies the entire six storey Kwanza house, is located on the Kijabe road/ Geoffrey Kamau way on the lower side and fronts the main Nakuru /Eldoret highway on the upper side.

The centre is easily accessible, visible and offers an ideal learning environment. It has executive lecture rooms, computer labs, library, bookshop, seminar facilities, cyber café, among other facilities for both post and undergraduate students.The University wants to extend its services in the Rift region by particularly targeting employees of various organizations in Nakuru and surroundings, high school graduates and students from other Institutions who are attracted to JKUAT uniqueness in terms of Quality Assurance.
