About The Course
Master of business information Technology is a course designed for students with degrees in IT or other IT related degrees.

What you will study
You will cover areas of business such as project management, analytics, change management and strategy, as well as information security, knowledge management, and systems analysis and design.

Through the combination of business and IT studies, this program is designed to produce ethically and socially responsible professionals who can draw on technical and leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, innovative professional practices, and strategic and organizational skills to create successful business information systems solutions excel in the areas of business analysis, IT consultancy and project management.

Graduates may work in a range of industry sectors including health, retail, banking, farming, teaching, transport, manufacturing, publishing, telecommunications, education and libraries.

Eligibility for the programme
Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field with first class honors, Upper second class honors or lower second class plus two years relevant experience for those with a pass they should go for a postgraduate diploma before proceeding with masters.

Course Duration
Masters programmes run for 3 semesters course work and one semester of research, though the maximum period allowed is 2 calendar years.

Intakes
the campus admits students thrice per year in January, May and September. The campus runs trimester systems, which reduces the total calendar time spent by students in the university by up to one-third.
