Mozilla summit in Toronto 2013

We as JKUAT Mombasa  fraternity are pleased to inform you that three of our students undertaking BBIT have been selected  to attend  Mozilla summit in Toronto  2013 Canada this year.

The three students are also members of Mombasa tech Community. These are:

Musa Alfan– Pursuing Bachelor of business information technology. A good graphic designer and passionate about Open Source technologies. Musa is also an active volunteer in community engagements i.e Mozilla Communities and GDG (Google Developer Group)

Said Fuad– Student at JKUAT pursuing BBIT. He is passionate about web and software development and how the two intersect. A leader by example who empowers and motivates his fellow students. He also spends time mentoring his fellow students by creating groups amongst them and learn together. Founder and Co-leader of MombasaTech Community, Mozillian and GDG Mombasa manager


Alifiyah Ganijee– JKUAT undergraduate pursuing BBIT, passionate about Information Technology. She is a web and mobile developer enthusiast who envisions simplicity and so as ease of use of solutions made. She is also a Founder and co lead of the Mombasa tech community, Mozillian and GDG manager. She also works with fellow women Google community managers in aspects of empowering women in technology.

The summit will take place in  October 2013. The director, deputy director , registrar and the entire staff of JKUAT Mombasa wish to congratulate these three students for having been selected. Indeed it’s a great honor and we hope that they will represent JKUAT Mombasa in Toronto Canada.
