On Friday November 17, 2017, 4,131 students were conferred with various degrees and awarded diplomas during the 30th Graduation Ceremony of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). The ceremony was graced by JKUAT Chancellor, Prof. Geoffrey Ole Maloiy.   Mombasa campus had 196 graduates in total. PhD graduates were 11, Masters 45, Bachelors 79, Diploma 21 and certificate 40. International Maritime Organization (IMO) has announced that Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya, has been selected to host the regional Maritime Technology Cooperation Centre (MTCC) for the Africa region, under an ambitious project, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by IMO, to help mitigate the harmful effects of climate change.
