The JKUAT Kitale Campus has permanently relocated from Kitale’s Mega center to a more strategic place, commonly known as Robinson, which is opposite KEPHIS regional offices just half a kilometer off Kitale-Eldoret road. This is in pursuit of a better serene learning environment, lecture halls, laboratories, accommodation facilities and space for extra-curricular activities, as required in the Kenya’s university education regulations. We welcome our esteemed and prospective students to visit the campus and experience the new learning environment.

JKUAT Kitale CBD campus has an outreach program to high school students aimed at strengthening them in their road to college. The areas of support include sound career choice, excellence in academic life, good moral conduct, stress management and resilience against societal and peer pressure. Both the campus teaching and non-teaching staff engage the youngsters through visitations to the high schools and students visiting the campus for seminars and open air meetings. Mr. Wambua from JKUAT Directorate of Gender and Mentoring conducting the sensitization training on the university policies of disability mainstreaming, gender and sexual harassment on 15th June 2018. Issues of disability have recently been gaining recognition worldwide. Deliberate efforts to integrate people with disability into development are central towards achieving millennium development goals. JKUAT has committed itself to the provision of necessary opportunities and access to people with disability through various mechanisms.
