Chancellor of JKUAT University, Professor Geoffrey Moriaso Ole Maloiy (PhD)

We’re pleased to inform our staff, students, our stakeholders and the public at large that the JKUAT University Chancellor, Professor Geoffrey Moriaso Ole Maloiy (PhD) shall be visiting Kisii CBD campus on 27th April, 2017. This is one of the many visits he has accorded the Campus and this shows his commitment to the development of the campuses. We very much appreciate it.
He (the Chancellor) shall endeavor to speak with the staff and students especially the postgraduate. Specifically among them his student, Rodgers Omboga Amenya, with whom he and Prof. Johana Sigey the Campus Director are supervisors, on a Thesis Titled: An Analysis of Hemodynamics of Blood Flow in Jugular Vein of Giraffe; to motivate and inspire them to aim and achieve their set academic goals. Mathematics as a discipline requires commitment and discipline from the student, we can only ask of him to mentor more students from this campus that they may meet global excellence and set new trends in higher education, research and innovation.
The Chancellor will be accompanied by the University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mabel Imbuga (PhD) and the University personnel upon that day. Her visit shall be felt and not go unnoticed, for the motherly love and warmth always blooms her environs.
We as a Campus, can only look forward to this day which shall give us an opportunity to interact and possibly get a rare chance to greet him in person; more over why not take a personal photo with him as a souvenir? I know it will be a memorable day whether or not my wishes are granted. Why would you miss the occasion? Come, let us celebrate together!
On behalf of the Director, Prof. Johana K. Sigey and the entire campus fraternity we welcome the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and his entire personnel that shall accompany him. Welcome, and welcome again to the land of “matoke”. Once you take one banana, you won’t have a choice but to take another!!!
