The overall objective is to develop the management capacity of the professional personnel entrusted to effectively and efficiently manage micro finance institutions and those with entrepreneurial roles in promoting small enterprise development. This program also help graduates to be able to evaluate business and enterprise proposals.
Among these are the managers of micro finance institutions, graduates of universities working in micro financial and micro finance related portfolios but without a concrete background in micro finance and also any other candidate meeting minimum requirement.
A candidate must have the following minimum qualifications
• Be a holder of bachelor’s degree with upper second class honors or its equivalent from a recognized university.
• Be a holder of second lower class level with a proven research ability or five year work experience in a relevant discipline.
The program will take a minimum of two academic years where the candidate takes a total of 10 core units and 2 electives. during the second year, the a candidate must take four core units 2 elective units and 5 unit research making a total of 11 units.
