The overall purpose is to enable organization achieve success through its skilled and committed workforce. The aim of this program is to equip managers for such responsibilities of managing resources both as the line managers and human resource specialists.
Holders of bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a higher diploma in human resource management, human resource practitioners who hold university degree in other fields and wish to receive formal training and a professional qualification in human resource management.
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT.
A candidate must be a:
•Holder of a bachelor degree with at least upper second class honors in any discipline or its equivalent from an institution recognized by the university senate or
•Be a holder of bachelors degree with second class honors provided the candidate can show proven evidence of research ability or five years relevant experience in a relevant field or
•Be a holder of a bachelor degree at pass level in any relevant field and a higher diploma in human resource management from Kenya national examination council or
•Be a holder of higher national diploma in human resource management may be admitted into the masters program provided such candidates have proven research ability relevant work experience and their work show that they are well qualified to undertake postgraduate studies by passing qualifying examinations.
The program is offered in two academic years, the first year will comprise twelve units including industrial attachment while the second year shall comprise course units.
