The Director – Kisii CBD Campus

Welcome all to JKUAT Kisii CBD campus which is situated at Umoja Elimu Centre building opposite Equity bank along Kisii-Kisumu highway.

The campus serves the entire Western and South Nyanza regions and also part of Rift Valley. The campus offers accredited disciplines by Commission for University Education (CUE) in CIT, CBA, DBA, DIT, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The campus is the only public institution within these that is CUE accredited. We’ve modern facilities such as lecture rooms, computer laboratories, Health science laboratory, internet connectivity thru Wi-Fi and Local Area Network and with a modern Library equipped with e-Resources.

We also have the student’s center fully equipped with the indoor games; Pool table, Table Tennis, Darts, Chess, Badminton, DSTV etc.

We’re proud of our highly qualified and motivated both teaching and support staffs; with a current student population of over one thousand. We’ve graduated three Ph.D, over two hundred masters’ students and over four hundred undergraduates.

The campus will soon be launching the Nursing programme as from next year 2017. The campus is set up in an excellent learning environment facing the Nyangira Hills.

Regards,

Director, KISII CBD Campus.

While home for December holidays, I visited the campus the beginning of the year as part of my trip back home. I was pleased with the kind of work going on in the Campus and the intent of seriousness both with the faculty and staff as well as students.
Great job to the accounts office and the administrative offices as well.

  14. Josephine Nyaboke Kibet says:

I came in today the 4th of June 2013 for registration of a diploma course but was surprised when they told me that they could not book me in for may intake because the registration has been closed and that they could only book me in for September intake.Am very demoralized because i had waited for this opportunity for a very long time,i could not register on time because i had traveled out off town for a few weeks and had nobody to send for my registration. You should kindly give an allowance of one week after the due date so that late comers like me also get a chance.I believe classes have not fully started.

    yours very disappointed client

am a former student at Kenya Institute of Management, do the school offer credit transfer to such student? can one still register for January intake

    • fnyabando says:

Credit transfer is a complicated thing, i can’t offer proper solution. It is therefore prudent that you visit our offices here in Kisii at Umoja Elimu Centre and get further clarity on the matter from the Director or the Administrator himself; that way you’ll get all your questions answered.
      Thank you, and welcome again.

      Hi Samuel Machuki,
