The program is meant to introduce candidates to the vast growing need to have a proper and well maintained up to date records in office management in the business environment boyh in public and more so private institutions. Thus the candidate will appreciate the diverse and unique skills that will help them realize their goals in line with the growing industry.
Secondary students who meet the minimum entry qualification as stipulated below
MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATION
A candidate wishing to undertake this course must;
•Be a holder of KCSE certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+ and a minimum of C in both mathematics and Kiswahili or English or
•Be a holder of KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and a minimum of a credit pass recognized by the university senate or
•Be a holder of an accredited diploma in management or secretarial studies with a credit pass recognized by the university senate or
•Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the university senate as equivalent to the above.
The bachelor of business and office management course is offered in three stage I,II,III. Stage I will comprise 21 units and an industrial attachment of 8 weeks. Stage II will comprise 14 units and an industrial attachment of 16 weeks while stage III will comprise 19 units. the three stages will be equivalent to 4 academic years work. The program will run for a minimum of 8 semesters.
