The need to provide JKUAT programmes to a wider population is one of the principal driving force s behind the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology – (JKUAT) NAIROBI CAMPUS. The campus initially started as a center and opened its doors to the first students in May 2002. It was elevated to a Campus in 2007. The campus is located about 10 kilometers from the city center on Kabasiran Avenue off Waiyaki way, Nairobi.
