11th Extraordinary Summit for East African Heads of State – H.E. President Kenyatta Arrival

The Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta visited Arusha on Saturday 27.4.2013 to attend the 11th Extraordinary Summit for East African Heads of State. This was his first trip outside his country since he was inaugurated last month. When he arrived at the Kilimanjaro International Airport he was welcomed by President Jakaya Kikwete and Arusha Regional leaders. Also present was Prof. Ward J. Mavura (shaking hands), the Director of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Arusha Campus.

Supplementary/Special Exams Timetable

Timetable for September 2012 intake Certificate in HIV/AIDS, July 2011 and May 2012 intakes special/supplementary exams which have been scheduled to start on 29th April 2013 is out. Click on the link below to download it.

SPECIAL AND SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMS TIMETABLE

Candidates sitting for supplementary examinations shall be required to pay a non-refundable fee of TSh. 15,000/= per paper deposited directly into the Centre’s Account: Kenya Commercial Bank – Arusha Branch; Account name: JKUAT ARUSHA CENTRE; Account no. 3300451426. The Centre shall NOT accept cash payments but will instead accept pay-in slips from the bank.

No candidate will be allowed to sit for any supplementary exam without payment of the requisite fee.

LECTURER in Purchasing and Supplies Management (one position)
ASSISTANT LECTURER in Purchasing and Supplies Management (one position)

QUALIFICATIONS

LECTURER: Must be a holder of a PhD in the relevant field from a recognised university. Should have at least 2 years experience teaching at a university
ASSISTANT LECTURER: Must be a holder of a Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognised university. Should have had a Bachelor’s degree with at least a second class upper division. A teaching experience of at least 2 years will earn added advantage.
