New Plot for Mombasa Campus

The University has received a Title Deed for a 1.4 acre plot in Mombasa on which it intends to put up a state of the art campus. The plot is situated along Moi Avenue within the Mombasa Central Business District. Currently, the University runs a campus at the Mombasa Trade Centre (formerly Ambalal House) along Nkrumah Road within the Central Business District. University Council, Management and the Kenya Union of Domestic, Hotels, Educational Institutions, Hospitals and Allied Workers (KUDHEIHA) have signed a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), Friday, September, 27, 2013. The move, which will see members enjoy better perks which entail Office to house allowance, Passage and baggage allowance, leave allowance among others, follows the successful conclusion of negotiations between the JKUAT Council (employer) and the workers (KUDHEIHA).
