Kigali Campus Students Visit the Main Campus

29 Civil Engineering students from JKUAT, Kigali Campus are at the Main Campus for their practical sessions. The one week program, ending Tuesday, January 19, 2016, not only provide the students with valuable skills and knowledge but also gives them an ample opportunity to familiarize with the Main Campus.

While paying a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mabel Imbuga appreciated the students for choosing JKUAT and wished them productive practical sessions that will boost their skills in their various fields.

Emphasizing the University’s Philosophy, Prof Imbuga encouraged the students to adopt and utilize ethical standards and best practices in training, research and innovation in order to produce dynamic leaders and contribute towards the social and economic development of Rwanda.

The group led by the Coordinator of Pure and Applied Sciences Kigali Campus, Ms. Christine Mutesi, thanked the Main Campus for the warm welcome and hosting.

Kigali Campus, located in Kicyukiro District of Kigali, Rwanda was established in September 2013 marking a new phase in the Rwanda’s education systems. The aim of the campus is to provide Rwandans with education that makes a difference and qualifications that bears academic weight.
