University acquires new vehicles

The transport situation at JKUAT has received considerable boost following Management decision to acquire four brand new vehicles. The vehicles; two saloon cars, Volkswagen and  Toyota,  a  Toyota Pick-up and a 33 seater university bus were received and commissioned by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mabel Imbuga on Thursday May 17, 2012.


Together with the Vice Chancellor to receive the vehicles valued at Kshs. 14.4 million were the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs Prof. Romanus Odhiambo, Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Production and Extension Prof. Esther Kahangi, and Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Planning and Development Prof. Francis Njeru. To launch the vehicles, the Vice Chancellor led a section of the staff for a ride in the new school bus.

    Wonderful Job. It is now a pride to ride in one of this new vehicles. A renewed freight for University Vehicular. The ride was wow. all the way to the Swimming pool, RPE and back to the admin.
